• A claim on this site that did not hold up when you tried it. This is the most useful message you can send, and it will usually end up in a revisit.
• A crossing you have made yourself: something from one part of your work that turned out to explain something in another part.
• A friction you keep hitting that nobody seems to write about properly.
• Speaking, writing, advisory or consulting enquiries.

I read everything. I reply to most things, though not always quickly, and more reliably to a specific question than to a general one.

A note on what I will not do

I do not accept guest posts, sponsored posts, link exchanges or paid placements. Everything on this site rests on something I actually did or watched happen, and there is no version of a paid placement that survives that rule.
